What is Imperial Create Lab?
Imperial Create Lab is building a thriving ecosystem for science and technology ventures. It is a collaboration between Imperial College London students, faculty and the UK’s leading technology investors: Imperial Innovations, built on 15 years of spin-out expertise and part of a 5 year vision to create an innovation village of start-ups, corporates and researchers at Imperial West.
What is the Venture Catalyst Challenge?
The VCC is a deep science and technology pre-accelerator that helps undergraduates, postgraduates and alumni prove the commercial viability of their research and inventions. Each year we select 15 ventures from approximately 150 applications to take on a 6 week programme. See our ventures here.
What is the Breakthrough Innovation Award?
Imperial College, Imperial Innovations and Google Solve for <x>, Powered by Google [x] have come together to offer a set of prizes for what we call “Breakthrough Innovation”, big thinking solutions tackling huge problems with radical impact. We are celebrating the top student team with a £3,000 prize and the chance to be featured on Google X’s Moonshot platform - Solve for X. There are also separate prizes for runners up.
